Malinowski, Sarah (4 JAN 1872 - 10 JAN 1937)
Mrs. Michael Malinowski, who has been suffering for several years past with anemia and diabetes, died at her home in the town of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), on Sunday, Jan. 10th, 1937. She had reached the age of 65 years and 6 days.
Sarah Loby was born in Poland on Jan. 4, 1872. She arrived in America on June 10th, 1891 and resided in the town of Lincoln, Adams County, Wis. She was united in marriage to Michael Malinowski on Feb. 29, 1892 at Princeton, Wis. To this union eleven children were born, all but two, Alex and Helen, still survive. The Malinowski family came to Thorp Jan. 3, 1913 and located on a farm in the township of Thorp.
Deceased leaves to mourn, her husband, one brother, Frank Loby and two sisters in Poland, four sons, Thomas of Sheboygan Falls, Edward of Chicago, Ben and Louie of thorp, five daughters, Stella Majewski, Pearl Maslowski, Julia Kot, Johanna Langmayer and Marie Jaskot, all of Chicago, and eighteen grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig’s Church on Thursday, Jan. 14th, Rev. F.A. Kulig officiating and interment following in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were: Stanley Zawocki, Joe Czech, Marin Soda, Frank Wyczawski, Louis Twarowski and Frank Neiman.
