Rutkowski, Joseph (29 OCT 1850 - 30 JAN 1937)
Joseph Rutkowski, 86, died of heart disease at his home in the town of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), on Sunday, Jan. 30th, 1937.
Deceased was born in Poland on Oct. 29, 1850, and came to America in the year 1884. He resided in the states of Washington, Pennsylvania and Arkansas before coming to Wisconsin in 1916 and location on a farm in the town of Withee. He leaves a widow and two daughters, Veronica Bartosiewicz and Stella Wojt, of Thorp.
Funeral rites were conducted by the Rev. F.A. Kulig at St. Hedwig’s Church, Wednesday morning, Feb 3, interment following in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were: John Kliminski, Fred Petrulis, Mike Zasacki, Mike Macadlo, Jos. Giwojna and Carl Gaj.
