Rickaby, Walter H. (18 MAR 1920 - 1 APR 1936)

Word has been received of the death of Walter Rickaby, 16 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rickaby of Sawyers Dam, in the town of Hammel, which occurred Wednesday morning at 9 o’clock at the Marshfield hospital. Death was due to kidney trouble and complications.

Walter Henry Rickaby was born at Medford, March 18, 1920 and attended school at Medford, Wisconsin and in the town of Hammel. Ill health kept him from continuing school. He had been at the Marshfield hospital since March 12.

He is survived by his parents, four sisters, Helen, Lillian, Mary and Nancy Ann, and three brothers, Charles, Kenneth and John. He is also survived by three aunts, Mrs. Alice Paulson, Dorchester, Mrs. Eric Mehner?, Minneapolis, and Mrs. Henry Zielke, Medford, and other relatives.

The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 at the Pflughoeft and Hartwig Funeral Home and at 2:00 from the Medford Methodist Church.
