Haas, Esther (Marriage - 10 Oct. 1931)
A very pretty and interesting wedding took place at the Zion’s Lutheran church Saturday, October 10th, 1931, Rev. O. H. Hoffmann reading the marriage ceremony, when Esther Haas became the bride of Mr. Carl Meinke. Miss Edna Kobs, niece of the groom, acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Wm. Werth, brother of the bride.
The bride was attired in a beautiful dress of navy blue flat crepe with hat to match and her bouquet consisted of roses, carnations and snapdragons. The bridesmaid wore a dress of brown flat crepe.
After the marriage ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride, the home being nicely decorated with blue and white streamers for the occasion.
The newly married couple will make their home on the groom’s farm.
The Phonograph joins their many friends in extending congratulations.
