Amacher, Fred (30 AUG 1893 - 6 MAY 1936)
Funeral services were held at the Zion Lutheran Church at Stetsonville, Wisconisn Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock for Fred Amacher, who passed away at the Medford clinic last Wednesday after a two month’s illness. The home service was held at 1:30 with the Rev. G.O. Krause conducting. Interment was made at the Stetsonville Cemetery south of the village.
Fred Amacher was born in the town of Deer Creek Aug. 30, 1893 and was forty-two years old at time of death. On June 1, 1916 he was united in marriage to Miss Anna Harder at Stetsonville. They have made their home at Stetsonville since then, where Mr. Amacher has been associated with the Stetsonville Hardware Store for twenty years. About a year ago he bought out his partner, Erich Dahlberg, and had been managing the store himself.
He is survived by his widow, one daughter, Dorothy, and one son, Frederick. He also leaves one sister, Mrs. Herman Vircks of Stetsonville and two brothers, Ed Amacher of Medford and Hans Amacher of Abbotsford, Wis.
The many Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.) friends of the family join us in offering deepest sympathy.
