Koch, Ferdinand (1863? - 17 AUG 1936)

Funeral services will be held today for Ferdinand Koch, 73, pioneer farmer, who passed away at the home of his son Paul Koch, in the town of Deer Creek last Monday evening following a heart attack. The services will be conducted at 2 o’clock this afternoon by the Rev. J.J. Hofmann at the Evangelical Community Church at Medford, and interment will be made in the Evergreen Cemetery at Medford. Mr. Koch’s death was very sudden and came as a complete shock to his relatives and friends.

Mr. Koch was born in Germany and came to the United States as a young man. His wife preceded him in death and of the several children surviving him, two of them, Paul Koch of the town of Deer Creek, and Mrs. Max Haufe of the town of Holton, live in this community.

We join the friends in offering sincerest sympathy. A more complete obituary will be published next week.
