Married, at the home of the bride’s mother, Feb. 24, 1897, by Rev. Franklin B. Doe, Charles E. Elkinton, M.D., of Eleva, Wis., and Miss Alice Brown of Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.). The bride has lived here all her life, and is a most amiable and bright young lady. The doctor also is bright -- too bright, in fact, for the rest of the young men, who have let him run off with this prize.
