Will, Margaret (Marriage - 10 Oct. 1932)
A very pretty and interesting wedding took place Monday morning, October 10th, at eight o’clock at the St. Mary’s Catholic church, Colby, Rev. L. J. Lang officiating, when Miss Margaret Will, daughter of Mr. Wm. Will, Jr., became the bride of Mr. Herbert Steinwand, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Steinwand. Mrs. Fred Lakosky, the only sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Mr. Fred Lakosky.
The bride was attired in a beautiful gown of royal blue transparent velvet and her arm bouquet consisted of Johanna roses. Mrs. Lakosky wore a burgundy triple-sheer dress and her arm bouquet consisted of flesh colored carnations.
Immediately after the ceremony, breakfast was served at the home of the groom’s parents to immediate relatives and friends. Out of town people here for the wedding were Miss Alma Harry of Minneapolis, the bride’s aunt, and Miss Laura Steinwand of Milwaukee, the groom’s sister.
The newlyweds will make their home in Colby, the groom being employed at the Security State Bank as assistant cashier. Both the bride and the groom are popular young people of Colby and both are graduates of the Colby, Wis. High School. The bride is also a graduate of St. Joseph school of nursing of Marshfield.
