Ley, Michael Mrs. (1852? - Nov. 1932)
Mrs. Michael Ley, age eighty, mother of George Ley, manager of the Colby Cheese Box. Co., died at her home at Marshfield following a stroke of paralysis. Mrs. Ley resided at Hewitt for nearly thirty years prior to moving to Marshfield eight years ago.
She is survived by her husband and seven children, Mrs. Joseph Gotstein, Kewaunee; Mrs. Nick Spitzer, Green Bay; Mrs. Max Menke, Nekoosa; Mrs. Fred Schinthelm, Louis Ley and George Ley of Marshfield; and Michael Ley of Prentice. She also leaves two brothers, Louis and George Rueckl of Luxemburg.
Funeral services were held at the Sacred Heart Catholic church Thursday morning, Nov. 17th, at 9:00 o’clock, with Father H. P. Toeller officiating. Burial was made at the Hewitt cemetery.
