Sontag, Emma #2 (12 MAY 1897)
Carl Walk and Miss Emma Sontag were married Wednesday evening, May 12, 1897, at the home of the bride in this city (Neillsville, Clark Co., Wis.) by Rev. Thrum. A large number of guests were present, and the ceremony, followed by congratulations and a banquet, came off with the proverbial happy-heartedness. The brass band serenaded. This excellent young couple have our congratulations. Mr. Walk is a member of the firm of Walk Bros., general merchants, and his wife is the sister of George Sontag, of the C.C. Sniteman Co. Both have grown up from infancy here, and are a credit to our city.
