Neverman, Carl #2 (1840 - 30 JUL 1897)

Carl Neverman died at his home in this city (Neillsville, Clark Co., Wis.) on Friday morning last of paralysis, aged 57 years. He was born in Mecklenburg, Germany in 1840 and came to America in 1867, and settled in Neillsville when this country was practically a wilderness. He leaves a wife and four children, Lizzie, Max, Adeline and Ella, and two grandchildren to mourn his loss.

The funeral was held Sunday from the Presbyterian Church, Rev. T.C. Hill officiating. A large crowd assembled to pay their last respect to an old and well known citizen. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen and was buried in the Neillsville Cemetery with Woodman honors.
