Plischke, Frank #2 (1818 - 23 AUG 1897)
Frank Plischke died Monday, Aug. 23rd, 1897, aged 79 years, from the effects of old age. He had been feeble for some time. He died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Julius Tragsdorf. Mr. Plischke was a well educated man, and some years ago he taught a class in German. His native city was Prague, we believe. He was the first brick mason in Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.), and build Hewett’s "Red Brick" block, and with Ketel Bros. built the high school, court house, and many other buildings. He was highly respected, and will be deeply mourned. He was a good, generous man, and loved the land of his adoption.
The funeral takes place this morning at 10 o’clock from the Catholic Church.
