Married, Sept. 8, 1897, at the residence of Andrew Shoop, in the presence of a large gathering of friends and relatives, by Thos. M. Winters, J.P., Mr. Samuel Shoop to Miss Edna Colburn, both of Shortville (Clark Co., Wis.). After the ceremony a bountiful supper was served and the guests repaired to the Shortville hall where they joined in tripping the light fantastic until the wee small hours of the morning.
