CLASS OF 1947 HOLDS REUNION

Greenwood -- One May 26, 17 members of the Greenwood High School class of 1947, and their guests, gathered at the Greenwood American Legion Hall for fellowship, reminiscing and a great meal. Those attending from out of state were Joe and Patricia Plunkett, Savage, Minn. Thos attending from in state were Al and Lorraine Carteron Dittmar, Watertown; Raymond and Shirley Clintsman Korth, Wausau; Duane and Marilyn Horn, La Crosse; Wayne and Marjorie Jackson Herdrich, Tomah; Lucille Klinke Bantz, Oconomowoc, Kay Klinke O'Brien, and guest, Marshfield; Della Martens Podobnik, Marshfield; Roger Mead, Mosinee; Philip and Lenore Melius, Plymouth; Vernon and Alice Nolan, Wisconsin Rapids; Robert Reese, Madison; and Bill and Elveira Vollrath Rogers, Red Granite. Those attending from Greenwood were Richard and Virginia Acker, Stanley and Amy Ehlers Olson, Thomas Elmer, Betty Hatton Lenz, and Agnes Klapataukas Debevec. The class has agreed to meet again in 2009. There are 14 deceased classmates.
