Flynn, Ruane (1844 - 26 SEP 1897)

Mrs. James Flynn died Sunday at Chicago, where she had gone to try the faith cure. The remains were brought to the desolated home Monday and the funeral took place yesterday afternoon, Rev. G.N. Foster officiating. Mr. Flynn and several members of the family went to Chicago Saturday, and found her felling much better, and on Sunday she arose, one of the daughters did up her hair, and a moment later she sank to the floor, dead. Deceased leaves a husband and three daughters, Mrs. Grace Balch, Jessie, Hazel, two sons, Floyd and Arthur, to mourn her demise. She was a lady of great refinement and devotion to the home. Her husband is locomotive engineer running on the passenger train between Merrillan and Marshfield. Relatives from St. Paul and elsewhere attended the funeral. Deep regret is expressed throughout the community for the loss of so noble and devoted a woman.
