James Belanger (March 26, 1956 - July 3, 2007)
James Robert Belanger, 51, of Owen, died on July 3, 2007, at his home.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Maurina Funeral Home in Owen, Wis. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Withee.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
Jim was born on March 26, 1956, in Milwaukee to Robert and Marion (Beth) Belanger. He was married to Wendy Steinkirchner and later divorced. Jim and Jeanne Wismeth were married March 26, 1999. He worked for Teledyne Post in Owen as a kiln operator and at Abbyland Pork Plant in Curtiss, Wis. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanne, of Owen; his mother, Marion Belanger, of Milwaukee; his children: Scott Belanger of Decatur, Ill., Char Belanger of Milwaukee, and Laura (Matt) Sweeney of Decatur, Ill.; his step-daughters: Nichole (Craig) Braaten of Cornell, and Trisha (Jeff Meyer) Dale of Thorp; two grandchildren; one brother, Ronald Belanger of Milwaukee; one sister, Jackie (Cliff) Hoeft of Milwaukee, and his mother-in-law, Jeanette Reed of Medford.
