Mrs. Minnie Hammer passed away Monday afternoon at the home of her niece, Miss Lily Zimmerman on main st. The deceased would have been 86 years of age on January 17.
She was born in Saxony, Germany in 1849 and came to the United States at the age of three years. She lived in Sheboygan until she married. She then lived in Wrightstown, Appleton, Rhinelander and Minneapolis and returned to Wrightstown on May 15 last. She and her sister conducted a millinery shop here for a number of years. Pall bearers were August Phluger, Charles Kussow, Otto Schaueble, Herman Roebke, Albert Timm and Fred Bastian.
