Humiston, Jesse #2 (16 MAY 1834 - 1 NOV 1898)

Jesse Humiston, whose death was briefly mentioned last week, was brought to this city (Neillsville, Clark Co., Wis.) on the Saturday morning train, and was taken thence to his home in York (Clark Co.). The funeral occurred at 10 o’clock the same morning from the M.E. Church at York.

Deceased was born in New York in 1834, came to this county and settled in York in 1874. Was married to Miss Lestina Crossett in 1875. Was an old soldier, having enlisted in 1861 in Co. M. 2nd N.Y.H.A. He leaves a wife and two children.
