Frieda C. Severson (March 12, 1909 - June 8, 2007)

GREENWOOD -- Frieda Clara Severson, 98, of Greenwood, died Friday, June 8, 2007, at Marshfield Care Center.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2007, at Greenwood City Cemetery.

Cuddie Funeral Home of Greenwood is assisting the family with arrangements.

Frieda was born March 12, 1909, in Athens to Christian Jacob and Elise (Romang) Keiner. She married Hugh Severson on Sept. 29, 1940, at Zion United Church of Christ in Greenwood. The couple moved periodically due to Hugh's employment as an electrical lineman. They settled in Greenwood following his retirement in 1968. He died Jan. 26, 1985.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol (Roy) Kaisler of Colgate; sister-in-law, Grace Luntz of Marshfield; and nieces and nephews.
