Miss Reva Baumgarten of Elroy became the bride of Franklin T. Matthias, son of Mr. and Mrs. F.H. Matthias of Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), in a ceremony performed at high noon on Tuesday, Aug. 1, 1933, at the Methodist Episcopal Church at Elroy.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. Baumgarten. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and has taught speech correction in the city schools of Beloit the past two years.
The groom is a graduate of the Abbotsford, Wis. High School and the University of Wisconsin, where he received a master’s degree in civil engineering last June.
After a honeymoon to West Point, N.Y., and other points east, they will be at home to their friends in Madison, where the groom is an instructor of topographical engineering at the University of Wisconsin.
