Bangle, Charles (1880 - 19 AUG 1933)

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon from St. Katherine’s Church, the Rev. F.E. Drake officiating, for the late Charles Bangle, who passed away Saturday at Oak Forest Sanitarium, Onalaska, following an illness of more than two years.

Mr. Bangle was a victim of tuberculosis, from which he had suffered for about three years, and prior to his illness he was employed as a machinist in the plant of the John S. Owen Lumber Co. He had been a resident of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) for about 20 years and was well and favorably known to all.

More than two and one-half years ago he entered the sanitarium with hopes that treatment there would restore his health, but all efforts seemed to fail, and he passed away Saturday.

He is survived by his wife and seven children, all of whom have the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community in the loss of a kind husband and father.

Following the services at St. Katherine’s Church, interment was made in Riverside Cemetery.
