Personal Mention
Who Have Come, Who Have Gone, and Are Going Away - Other Gossip.
W. N. Davidson went to Rio last week to visit his daughter, Alice.
Steven Andrews was down from Greenwood last week.
Fred Rossman and family will soon moved to Ashland.
Capt. Copeland, of La Crosse, came up last week to attend the funeral of Willie LaFlesh.
A. W. White, of Greenwood, was among the callers at the Times office last Thursday.
Mr. George O. Shields, of the American Field, a sporting paper, was in the city last week.
Miss Mohl, of Porage, will be with Mrs. Dole again the first of next month.
I. T. Carr, of the Republican and Press, went to Jefferson last Friday evening.
Harry Ferguson, brakeman of the Omaha Line, had a finer smashed while coupling cars Saturday.
Mrs. Andrew Ross, who has been spending a few weeks in Madison, was in Neillsville on Saturday last.
Rev. W. T. Hendren expects to preach on next Sunday at Hyslip’s in the afternoon, and at Foreman’s in the evening.
In the assembly on the 17th, Hon. James O’Neill, was appointed to succeed to Mr. Vilas’ place on the judiciary committee.
Mrs. Schofield, Mr. and Mrs. Weston, Homer Root and others were down from Greenwood in attendance upon the funeral of Mrs. Reddan’s daughter on Saturday.
George Grown, of Sauk County, a brother of Chas. F. Grow, county clerk, has been in the city of the past week visiting. He will return home this week.
Mrs. Merrill, of Minneapolis, who has been with her sister, Mrs. LaFlesh, at the Reddan House in this city, returned with Mr. and Mrs. LaFlesh to their home in Sherwood Forest on Monday of this week.
