A pretty wedding was solemnized when Miss Elda Buss, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Buss of Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of John Burtard of Owen (Clark Co.), son of Mr. and Mrs. John Burtard, at the Reformed Parsonage at Colby on Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 22, 1933. The Rev. H.K. Hartmann read the service. The couple were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Walter Nicks, sister and brother-in-law of the groom. She was attired in a wine colored crepe gown with black accessories. The maid of honor wore blue. A wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride’s parents to about 25 immediate relatives. The groom is manager of an oil station at Owen, Wis.
