Baker, C.O. (1846? - 17 MAR 1934)
C.O. Baker, age 87, died at the home of his son, Dr. and Mrs. K.W. Baker, residing west of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), Saturday, March 17, 1934. Mr. Baker came to Clark County in the year 1905, and since then has made the county his home. For many years he lived at Greenwood, and then for a time was at the home of Dr. C.J. Baker, a son, at Hawkins. For the past two years he has been with his son, Dr. Karl W. Baker, of this city.
For more than 50 years he was a member of the G.A.R. Post No. 22 at Wis. Rapids, and the funeral services were conducted at that place Tuesday with military rites.
Mr. Baker was a man highly respected by all whom knew him and had many friends throughout the county. The services were attended by Dr. and Mrs. K.W. Baker of this city and Dr. and Mrs. J.C. Baker of Hawkins, and numerous friends from Neillsville, Wis.
