Cain, Ruth (30 MAR 1934)
The marriage of Miss Ruth Cain, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jens Rasmussen of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), to Henry Luraa of Withee (Clark Co.), was announced here this week by the parents of the bride.
The ceremony was performed at Freeport, Ill., on Friday, March 30, 1934, by Rev. Edward Sharp in the parsonage at Freeport.
Reports from the wedding indicated that a very pretty ceremony was carried out, with the bride becomingly attired in ivory satin. After the ceremony a reception in honor of the newly married couple was given by the sister of the groom.
Upon returning to Wisconsin the young couple will make their home at the farmstead of the groom, three miles south of Withee. Both are well known in this vicinity, the bride having graduated from Owen High School, since then having resided with her parents north of Owen, Wis.
