Shummel, Albert (1870? - 29 April 1885)
Shummel - In the town of Weston, Clark County, Wis., April 29, 1885, Albert Shummel, adopted son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hyslip, aged 15 years.
"Little Albert," as he was always called, had been a great sufferer for two or three years, and no one every thought that he could endure the suffering half as long as he did. But his patience was fully equal to his endurance. Quiet in manner and timid in disposition, he won his way to all hearts. He was one of a large family of children whose mother died in the summer of 1875. Many will mourn his loss, but many, very many rejoice that he is at last free from the bondage of corruption, hoping that his spirit has found rest in a world where sorrow and pain never come.
