Mutka, Wilma (18 SEP 1934)
A quiet wedding was solemnized when Miss Wilma Mutka, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Mutka of Hoard (Clark Co., Wis.) became the bride of Dan Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. A.P. Anderson of Withee (Clark Co.). The ceremony took place at her home on Tuesday of last week, Rev. Kusisto of Minneapolis officiating.
The bride wore a gown of white satin and a bridal wreath. She carried a bouquet of tea roses. She was attended by her two sisters, Viena and Tyne of Chicago. They both wore frocks of blue crepe and each carried a bouquet of autumn flowers.
The groom was attended by Emil Potocnik, acting as best man, and William Maki.
After the ceremony a reception was given for immediate relatives and friends of the couple.
On the eve of the wedding the bridal party and eight other guests had dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sarvari, aunt and uncle of the bride.
After a wedding trip to A. Century of Progress and points in southern Wisconsin, including a visit with the bridegroom’s brother in Milwaukee, the young couple will make their home on the farm of the groom’s parents, north of Withee.
Their many friends join in wishing them happiness and prosperity through their wedded life.
