Wischmeyer, Virginia (30 OCT 1934)
On Sunday, Oct. 30, 1934, at 1 o’clock in the Congregational Parsonage, Samuel R. MacGregor of the town of Holway (Taylor Co., Wis.) and Miss Virginia Wischmeyer of Pekin, Ill., were united in marriage, Rev. W.P. Powell reading the service.
Mr. MacGregor came up last February from Illinois, purchased a farm from the Clover Belt Land Co., where he has lived since. His bride is a registered nurse in the stat of Illinois. She came to Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) on the noon train Snday, and the wedding followed. After the wedding they departed for their new home, north of the city of Owen, where their many friends wish them a very happy future.
