Wood, Mrs. Mary (1857 - 25 OCT 1934)
This community (Owen, Clark Co., Wis.) was shocked today when it learned of the death of Mrs. L.W. Wood, which occurred shortly after 11 o’clock this forenoon. Her death is reported to have come from a heart attack, a disease from which she had been suffering for some time past. She passed away quietly at her home.
Mrs. Wood was one of the outstanding women of the community, and has been a resident of Clark County for many years. She is survived by her two sons, W.D. Wood of Neillsville, Fred of this city, and two daughters, Mrs. M. Nichols of Oshkosh, and Mrs. Fletcher of Long Beach, Calif.
No arrangements for the funeral have been made.
