Mueller, Leona (Marriage - 7 June 1933)
A very pretty wedding took place at the Lutheran church in the town of Frankfort Wednesday, June 7th, Rev. Ernst Nottbohm reading the marriage ceremony, when Miss Leona Mueller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Mueller, became the bride of Mr. Fred Schroeder, son of Frank Schroeder. Miss Dorothy Mueller, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid, and the groom was attended by his brother, Eric.
The bride was attired in a beautiful dress of white silk flat crepe and her bouquet consisted of yellow iris, peonies and roses. The bridesmaid wore a dress of yellow flat crepe and her bouquet was the same as the bride’s.
A wedding reception was given at the home of the bride’s parents, the home being nicely decorated with yellow, white and blue streamers for the occasion.
The newlyweds made a wedding trip to Watertown where they will reside on the farm of the groom’s father.
The out of town guests who attended the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Jean Schroeder of Watertown and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Mueller of Abbotsford, Wis.
