A quiet wedding took place in the Norwegian Lutheran church at Auburndale, Wisconsin, Monday morning, Rev. A. Egge reading the marriage ceremony, when Miss Evelyn Sivertson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ole Sivertson of Auburndale, became the bride of Mr. Donald Schwantes of Neillsville, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. F. Schwantes of Colby, Wisconsin. Miss Ermine Schwantes of Colby, sister of the groom, acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Bryne Neville of Colby.
The bride was attired in a beautiful ensemble of white crepe, trimmed in white fox, and white accessories. The bridesmaid wore a pink ensemble with white accessories.
A reception for relatives was held in the afternoon in Auburndale at the home of the bride’s parents.
