HOLD FUNERAL FOR CURTISS RESIDENT
Charles Jakel, 74, Victim of Recent Heat Spell
Curtiss, July 7--The funeral of Charles Jakel, 74, who died Wednesday while working in the garden was held on Saturday afternoon from the German Reformed church, the Rev. H. Hartman of Colby officiating. The deceased leaves two sons, Charles, with whom he made his home, and William, also at Curtiss, Wis. Heart failure caused by the intense heat was the cause of his death. Burial was made in the Pine Hill cemetery.
