Runaway Automobile Runs Into Building

Neillsville, July 1--The runaway horse of olden days is not without its substitute Main Street habitues of Neillsville discovered Monday evening as the auto of R. L. Barnes, local chiropractor, left its parking place near his office and sttarted downhill. After sideswiping an approaching auto with slight damage, the runaway, a practically new machine, crashed into the brick wall of the American Stores condensery at a high rate of speed, having run about two blocks in a perfectly straight line, crossing a railroad track and leaving the main highway, which turns to the right. A large hole was made in the brick wall of the building, and the car was badly damaged.
