Mr. Robert Hoard and Mrs. Harriet Pope, both of Grant township (Clark Co., Wis.), were united in marriage Thursday, May 4th, 1899, at Marshfield, by Rev. Jos. Brown. Mr. and Mrs. Hoard are well known hereabout, and worked it quite fine to fools their friends, but "murder will out," and their many friends got into the combination and have been showering them with congratulations.
