Wells, Sybil (10 JUL 1899)
Homer C. Clark and Miss Sybil Wells were united in marriage on Wednesday, July 10, 1899, at 10 a.m., by Rev. A.B. Scovill, at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. O.P. Wells. Those present at the ceremony numbered thirty and included only relatives and intimate friends. At 10:30 a wedding breakfast was served, and Mr. and Mrs. Clark took the 11:55 train for a short wedding trip to cities in southern Wisconsin, amid congratulations and many demonstrations of good will be their friends. The groom is an attorney both able and learned, and the bride is one of the fairest and brightest of Neillsville’s young ladies. Those from out of town who attended were Mrs. John Mills, Misses Jane and Mary Spaulding, B.R. Falls; Mrs. W.P. Miller and daughter, Appleton; Mrs. W.B. Lyman, Mendota; Miss Nellie Hungerford, Nasonville; Miss Florence Smith, Eau Claire.
