Hanne, Lila L. (Marriage - 20 Dec. 1933)
A very pretty wedding took place Wednesday, Dec. 20th, at the St. John’s Evangelical church, Rev. G. F. Hahn reading the marriage ceremony, when Miss Lila L. Hanne, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hanne, became the bride of Mr. John L. Witte. Miss Madelyn Witte acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Mr. Harold Miller.
The bride was attired in a beautiful dress of wine Debuvel transparent velvet and her bouquet consisted of mixed flowers. The bridesmaid wore a dress of wine silk flat crepe trimmed with fur and her bouquet also consisted of mixed flowers.
A wedding reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, the home being nicely decorated with shaded red crepe paper for the occasion.
The young couple will make their home on the groom’s farm, three miles east of Colby.
