Laabs, Fern E. (Marriage - 8 Nov. 1933)

Announcement is made of the marriage of Miss Fern E. Laabs, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Laabs, Dorchester, to Harold A. Kasper, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. Kasper, Colby. The ceremony was performed November 8, by the Rev. J. R. Kalwitz in the church parsonage.

The attendants were Miss Elvera Laabs, sister of the bride, and Donald Kasper, brother of the groom.

The bride is a graduate of Dorchester high school class of ’29 and the groom is employed at the E. A. Laabs Cheese factory in Dorchester, Wis.

Mr. and Mrs. Kasper will make their home with the bride’s parents, in Dorchester, Wis.

On Saturday night a group of 25 friends gave the couple a charivari, and on Wednesday night a wedding dance was held at the Universal hall.
