Macken, Owen (1885 - 12 Jan. 1934)
Owen Macken, who lived alone on his farm west of Unity in the town of Colby, died suddenly of heart failure Friday afternoon at the Colby clinic where he went to consult physicians. He was in the clinic about ten minutes. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at St. Mary’s Catholic church, Rev. Leo Lang officiating, and internment was made in the Colby cemetery. Pall bearers were C. Joe Kraus, Alphonse Bauers, Chas. Kesler, John Schlimm, Roman Steiber and P. O’Brien.
The deceased was sixty years old at the time of his death and his relatives live in Montana who had been notified of his death.
