Knight, Ethel (24 Sept. 1892 - 1 Apr. 1934)

Mrs. Raymond Knight died at her home in the town of Hull at 10:00 A.M. Sunday morning. She had been seriously ill with pneumonia for three weeks. Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church at Abbotsford Wednesday afternoon, Rev. L. C. Smith officiating. The pall bearers were George Dickinson, Chesley Cramer, Donald Horn, Alvin Schmidt, A. J. Young and Howard Cendt. Those in charge of the flowers were Mrs. Alvin Schmidt, Miss Grace Schmidt, Mrs. Chesley Cramer, Mrs. George Dickinson, Jr., Mrs. Fred Fricke, Mrs. Henry Wiese, Mrs. Ed. Munson and Mrs. H. D. Kennedy.

Thursday, the body was taken to Neenah, where, after a service at Oak Hill Chapel, Rev. L. C. Smith officiating, the body was laid at rest in Oak Hill cemetery.

The deceased was born at Neenah on September 24, 1892, and was married to Raymond Knight on May 22, 1919. She is survived by her husband, one son, Robert, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kurtz, and a sister, Mrs. Kathryn Horn of New York.

Mrs. Knight was a kind neighbor, a devoted mother, a true friend and her congenial disposition won her many friends in her community who will miss her.

Out of town relatives who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. William Hoeper and son, Norman, Mr. and Mrs. John Hoeper, Mr. and Mrs. John Hircher and Mr. and Mrs. Jean Kurts, all of Neenah, and Mrs. John Knight of Waupaca.
