Dallmann, Hella (Marriage - 18 Apr. 1934)
A very pretty wedding took place at the North Spencer Lutheran church Wednesday, April 18th, Rev. Hintz reading the marriage ceremony, when Miss Hella Dallmann, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. Dallmann, became the bride of Mr. Arthur Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Brown. Dorothy Brown acted as bridesmaid and Marie Thomas was maid of honor. The groom was attended by Clarence Brown and Marion Dallmann. Harry Brown acted as chauffeur.
The bride was attired in a beautiful dress of white satin with veil and headdress and white slippers. Her shoulder bouquet consisted of sweet peas, roses and carnations. The bridesmaid wore a dress of lavender satin and her shoulder bouquet consisted of pansies, sweet peas and carnations. The maid of honor wore a dress of peach colored satin and her bouquet consisted of sweet peas and lilies of the valley.
A reception for relatives was given at the home of the bride’s parents, the home being nicely decorated with blue and white streamers for the occasion. In the evening a free wedding dance was given which was largely attended by friends and relatives.
The newlyweds will make their home on the former Otto Brown farm, east of Colby.
