Reis, Charles E. (9 Aug. 1905 - 10 July 1934)

Chas. E. Reis, a prominent and well known farmer of the town of Hull, passed away Tuesday morning at his home after a lingering illness. Funeral services will he held at the Colby M. E. church Friday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock Rev. S. E. Bushendorf officiating.

The deceased was born at Sheboygan, Wis., on August 9, 1879, thus reaching the age of fifty-four years and eleven months. He came to Colby thirty years ago and was married to Myrtle Straub on March 22nd, 1905. He is survived by his widow, one daughter, Ione Miller of Minneapolis, one son, Dale, at home, and five sisters and two brothers. The deceased had always been a good Christian, a kind and indulgent father, a good neighbor and was numbered among our prominent and industrious farmers. To the devoted wife and children, who sit in sorrow where his footsteps shall never again find echo, we extend our sympathy.
