Chase, Ina (6 Feb. 1896 - 26 Oct. 1973)

Neillsville - A former area resident, Miss Ina Chase, 77, died Friday at Panorama City, Calif. Cremation services will be held there, with the ashes to be returned for burial in the Neillsville City Cemtery at a later date.

Miss Chase was born Feb. 6, 1896, in Wisconsin, and came to Clark County in 1910 with her parents. She was employed as a school teacher and had taught in Mellen and Gilman before moving to California to stay with her sister while she was ill. She had also taught in the public school system in California for several years.

Survivors include three sisters, Miss Fanny Chase, Neillsville Memorial Home, and Mrs. Muriel Kutchera and Mrs. Milo (Leona) Mabie, both of Neillsville; and four brothers, Clarence Chase, Chicago, Elmer Chase, Garrison, Mont., and Roy Chase, Neillsville, and Joseph Chase, Granton.
