Flink, Mathilda #2 (14 Oct. 1858 - 4 Aug. 1944)
Unity, Wis. - Mrs. Mathilda Flink, 85, who spent the past year at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Dallman, Milwaukee, died there at 11 o’clock yesterday morning of old age complications. She had been an invalid for years.
The body will be brought to Unity for funeral services Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock at the Flink home in Unity and at 2 o’clock at Trinity Lutheran Church. Internment will be made in the Unity Lutheran cemetery, and the Rev. Arthur Almquist will be in charge of the services.
Mrs. Flink was born Oct. 15, 1858, in Sweden, and came to America 63 years ago, settling in Unity immediately and living there until going to Milwaukee a year ago.
Her marriage to Andrew Flink, who died in May, 1941, took place in Sweden. Surviving are nine children: Mrs. William (Mary) Dallman, Mrs. Herman (Jennie) Uecker, and Carl and Oscar Flink, all of Milwaukee; William and John Flink, Minneapolis; and Mrs. Sam (Ella) Stark and August and Ted Flink, all of Unity.
Also surviving are 21 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
