Spencer, Wis. - Elsie Pauline Marten, 94, formerly of Spencer, died at 10:10 p.m. Saturday at Continental Manor Nursing Home, Abbotsford, Wis.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Rux Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. William Ruhbusch of Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer, officiating. Burial will be in West Spencer Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 6 tonight at the funeral home.

She was born April 19, 1895, in Spencer, to the late John and Pauline Hoops. She attended Spencer schools.

She was married to Frank Marten July 9, 1913, in Spencer. He died in 1974.

She was a housewife all her life.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

She is survived by one son, Vern of Fort Worth, Texas; one sister, Lela Molle of Colby; four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was also predeceased by one daughter, six brothers and four sisters.
