Plath, Renata (9 Mar. 1890 - 10 Aug. 1967)
Spencer - Mrs.William Plath, Sr., 76, Spencer, died Thursday morning in St. Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencer with the Rev. William Ruhbusch officiating. Burial will be made in the West Spencer cemetery.
The body will repose at the Jasperson Funeral Home from 7 o’clock tonight (Friday) until time of services.
The former Renata Hoops was born March 9, 1890, at Wayside, Wis., and received her education at the Lutheran school in Spencer. Her marriage to William Plath Sr. took place Oct. 13, 1911, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencer. After their marriage, the couple made their home in Spencer.
Mrs. Plath was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church at Spencer.
In addition to her husband, survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Harold (Helen) Fisher, Fond du Lac; Mrs. Siegert (Eva) Krasselt, Spencer; and Mrs. Merton (Arlene) Youmann, Janesville; two sons, Sherwood Plath, Neenah; and William Plath, Jr., Lac du Flambeau; four sisters, Mrs. Albert Vanderhoof, Spencer; Mrs. Harry Graham, Sycamore, Ill.; Mrs. Frank Marten, Fremont; and Mrs. Herman Molle, Unity; three brothers, Martin and Ervin Hoops, Spencer; and Herbert Hoops, Fond du Lac; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Four brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
