Tischendorf, Anna Emeline (Marriage - 25 Aug. 1934)
At a ceremony performed at 2:30 o’clock Saturday afternoon at Medford, Miss Anna Emeline Tischendorf, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Tischendorf of Dorchester, was united in marriage with Fred Howard Kaufman of Abbotsford, Wis. J. C. Poirer, justice of the peace, officiated, using the double-ring service.
The bride wore a frock of shell pink crepe and carried a sheaf of shell pink and white gladioli. Miss Elma Kaufman, sister of the bridegroom, who served as bridesmaid, was dressed in French rose flat crepe and carried gladioli.
A dinner, with covers laid for thirty, was served at 6 o’clock at the home of the bride’s parents. Giests from out-of-town included Mr. and Mrs. Louis Kaufman and children, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Fleischman and daughter, Virginia, and son, Donald, and Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Kaufman of Abbotsford, Raymond Rooks of Chicago and William Gurney of Janesville.
Mr. and Mrs. Kaufman will reside at Abbotsford and will be at home to friends after September 1st.
