Dins, Adeline (Marriage - 29 Aug. 1934)

A very pretty wedding took place at the Zion Lutheran church of Colby, Rev. O. Hoffmann officiating, Wednesday afternoon, August 29th, when Miss Adeline Dins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Dins, became the bride of Mr. Lawrence Krueger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Krueger of Curtiss, Wis. Bertha Dins, sister of the bride, acted as maid of honor and Erma Krueger, sister of the groom, was bridesmaid. The groom was attended by his brother, Arthur Krueger, as best man and Frederick Dins, the bride’s brother. Little Lennice Frome, cousin of the bride, acted as flower girl and carried a basket of snapdragons. Miss Rose Studer played the wedding march and Miss Esther Schultz and Miss Erma Wiersig, cousins of the bride, rendered a duet, "I Love You Truly."

The bride was attired in a beautiful white satin gown with pearl and lace trimming, floor length, sleeves puffed at the shoulder and tight from elbow to wrist. A long train completed the bridal gown. The veil was caught with orange blossoms and turban trimmed with pearls. Her shower bouquet consisted of pink and white roses. The maid of honor was attired in a gown of pink taffeta and the headband consisted of silver leaves. The bridesmaid wore a dress of green taffeta and her headband also consisted of silver leaves. Their bouquets consisted of mixed flowers, carnations and roses. The bride and attendants wore white accessories to match. The flower girl wore a dress of white flat crepe.

A wedding reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, covers at a 5:00 o’clock dinner being laid for approximately 100. The home was nicely decorated with pink, white and green streamers and cut flowers for the occasion. In the evening, a wedding dance was given at Wiedenhoeft’s pavilion which was largely attended by friends and relatives.

The newlyweds will make their home at Rib Lake, Wis., where the groom is employed as cheesemaker, having taken a course in this work at the University of Madison.
