King, Elizabeth #2 (8 MAR 1839 - 25 JAN 1900)
Elizabeth, wife of Edward King of Pleasant Ridge (Clark Co., Wis.), died on Thursday, Jan. 25, 1900, at 4:30 p.m., and was buried Sunday, Rev. A.B. Scovill conducting the services. Deceased would have been 61 years of age on the 8th of March next. Her maiden name was Elizabeth Buss, and she was born at Buffalo, N.Y.; came to Clark County in 1866 with her parents, was married, July 4, 1855. She leaves seven daughters and four sons, Mrs. Del Rodman, Mrs. Edward Selves, Mrs. John Howard, Mrs. Peter Brown, Mrs. Abe Spencer, of Milwaukee, Amy and Etta, and William, James, Fred and Thomas. She also leaves four sisters and a brother, Mrs. John Selves, Mrs. Fred Vine, Mrs. Thos Brown and a sister in Kansas, and John Buss. Her grandchildren number 27. She had always been a hard working, faithful woman, and died respected by all, and deeply mourned.
