Mr. Alex Halvorson and Mrs. E.H. Markey were united in marriage on Thursday night, March 8th, 1900, at the bride’s home, by Rev. A.B. Scovill. The marriage license was so neatly manipulated that the public missed the usual newspaper previousness in such cases made and provided. Cigars and congratulations have filled the air since, and now Alex is a resident of fifth Street.
