Counsell, Nettie (15 MAR 1900)
Wm. W. Short and Miss Nettie Counsell were united in marriage Thursday noon, March 15th, 1900, at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Counsell of Pleasant Ridge (Clark County, Wis.), Rev. G.W. Luther performing the ceremony. Both these young people are well known, and popular in the circles in which they move, and the Times joins their many friends in wishing them all sorts of sizes of good luck in their matrimonial undertaking. They will make their home at Hillsdale, Iowa County. The bride was born and raised here, and taught school four years. Mr. Short has a position as butter maker at Hillsdale. They took the 5 o’clock train Thursday for Jefferson for a short visit before settling down.
